FAQs
Where are you located?
While I’m based in Berlin, Germany, I frequently travel and tattoo in various locations! I often return home to California to visit family and work in the San Francisco Bay Area and Los Angeles. So far, I’ve had the pleasure of guesting in cities like Paris, London, Seville, New York City, Oakland, Berkeley, Alameda, and L.A. If you missed me last time, don’t worry—I’ll be back!

How much does a tattoo cost?
Since sizing, placement, style, and level of detail all influence how long a tattoo will take—and ultimately its cost—I don’t post fixed prices online. To provide you with an accurate quote, I’ll need a bit more information about your tattoo idea.
Once I understand the general concept, including the size and placement you have in mind, I can give you a more informed price range. This range will help you estimate the final cost, though please note that the exact price will depend on the length of our session. While I do my best to estimate session times, tattooing involves many variables, so it’s not always possible to predict perfectly.
The final cost will be based on the actual duration of your session. If you’d like more details about pricing, feel free to fill out my booking form or send me a message. I’m always happy to chat further and help you plan your tattoo!
Do you make tattoos in just black ink?
Yes, I do! I’m more than happy to create a tattoo using only black ink. While I’m known for my colorful pieces, I also deeply appreciate the bold and timeless expression that black ink allows.
I understand that many people prefer black ink tattoos, so if you see a design of mine that you love but would like to see reimagined without color, just let me know! I’d be excited to explore the possibilities and work with you to create something truly unique.
Is my tattoo going to hurt?
The level of discomfort really depends on the tattoo’s location, size, and design style. Pain also depends on how you are physically and mentally, so getting proper rest, hydration, and food before your tattoo is very important as it can help keep pain levels down.
While all tattoos involve some degree of discomfort, if you’re concerned about pain, let me know! I’m happy to suggest areas that tend to be less sensitive.
In my practice, taking breaks is always encouraged. I’ll regularly check in with you to make sure the pain is manageable. Tattoos can be uncomfortable, but I’m here to guide you through the process and make it as smooth as possible.
For very sensitive areas, using numbing cream before your session can be an option. If you’re interested in this, just let me know, and I can provide more details.
During the tattoo, I also sometimes use numbing and calming sprays to help reduce pain to more manageable levels. However, these sprays only work on skin that’s already been tattooed, so they can’t be applied until after we’ve started.
Can color tattoos work on medium or dark skin tones?
Color tattoos are for everyone, PERIOD. I have experience working with people of all skin tones and love introducing folks to the world of color tattoos.
The key to any tattoo is creating enough contrast to ensure the design remains clear and vibrant over time. While your skin tone will influence the color palette, colorful results are achievable for everyone.
I collaborate with clients to choose color palettes that complement their unique skin tone. If you’re unsure about diving into a color tattoo, I recommend starting with a small piece featuring a few colors you love—it’s a great way to explore the possibilities and see how each color looks after it’s healed.
How will my tattoo look over time?
All tattoos fade over time due to sun exposure, skin damage, and our skin’s natural process of breaking down ink particles. To keep your tattoos looking great for years to come, protect them from the sun, wear sunscreen, moisturize, and maintain proper skin care.
When designing tattoos, I keep aging in mind. For my color pieces, I ensure there’s enough contrast between dark and light tones so the design remains recognizable even as it fades.
All tattoos experience some ink spreading as they age. My Glitter Realness tattoos are designed with this in mind—over time, the dots will grow slightly, blending together and the colors will merge together more. I believe these tattoos will age beautifully, maintaining their glittery magic for years to come while softening and becoming more smooth and realistic over time.
While tattoos are permanent for our lifetimes, nothing is truly everlasting. Our bodies will age, our skin will wrinkle and sag, and so will our tattoos. I find beauty in this paradox of tattooing: creating something permanent that will inevitably change and one day rest with us.
What languages do you speak?
I’m a native English speaker and fluent in Spanish. While I understand some German, my speaking skills are unfortunately quite limited. I also studied Japanese for six years, but without consistent practice, my speaking and comprehension have become very basic.
Hygiene and sanitation?
Your safety and health are my TOP priorities. I take hygiene and sanitation extremely seriously, as they are essential for keeping everyone happy and healthy.
All work surfaces are thoroughly disinfected before and after every tattoo session. I am highly mindful of cross-contamination and follow all necessary procedures to ensure your tattoo is created in a safe and clean environment.
I have completed a Hygiene and Sanitation course certified by the EOMTP (Escuela Oficial Maestros Tatuadores y Piercers), which is recognized across the EU. This training ensures that I adhere to the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in my practice.
