My Philosophy

Clear communication and active consent guide every step of my process. I strive to create a space where you feel comfortable expressing your ideas, preferences, and needs.

When you get a tattoo with me, YOU are the star. Whether it’s adjusting the design, repositioning the stencil, or taking a moment to pause, I will continually ask you questions, check in, and do my best to make you feel heard, seen, and listened to.

My hope is that when you leave the studio, you not only leave with a new tattoo you love, but with some nice memories of the times we spent creating together. I’m looking forward to meeting and collaborating with you soon!

Lots of Love,

Takata

All bodies, identities, and backgrounds are welcome in my practice.

I strive to make my practice intersectional, inclusive, conscientious, and compassionate.

As a mixed-race Japanese-American and a queer person, I understand how vital it is to find spaces and communities where BIPOC and LGBTQ+ individuals can feel safe to be themselves and express themselves fully. My goal is to provide an environment where you can feel comfortable being your authentic self, and where we can enjoy a fun, creative connection while bringing your tattoo vision to life.

If you’ve been searching for a friendly, queer tattoo artist, you’ve come to the right place!

Please note, I have a zero-tolerance policy for any form of discrimination—including homophobia, racism, ableism, sexism, or hate speech of any kind. Kindness, respect, and inclusivity are non-negotiable.
